We Are
QGAS is a charitable organization supporting community vitality on Quadra Island, BC. It was started by two Quadra people, new to the island since 2016. We were drawn to Quadra for its caring and resilient spirit and made our home here. We hope to spread our luck around to passionate projects and organizations that help everyone on Quadra thrive.
QGAS aims for reconciliation and land back with the Laich-kwil-tach and K’ómoks Nations, including the We Wai Kai and Wei Wai Kum; Kwiakah, Walitsima and Kahkahmatsis; all who have inhabited Quadra Island and surrounding areas since time immemorial.
